Lighting Torches.

Pinecraft Barbecue Torches covers three tools built to get a fire going fast: a JJGeorge Grill Torch charcoal starter and two Greenwood propane torches, one of which adds a built-in igniter. All three skip lighter fluid entirely, aiming a direct flame at charcoal or a grill's burner instead.

Torches for lighting a grill in the catalog

Lighter fluid can leave a chemical taste behind if the charcoal hasn't fully burned it off before food goes on, which is the main reason cooks switch to a direct-flame torch. Pinecraft Barbecue stocks three lighting torches: a JJGeorge Grill Torch Charcoal Starter, a Greenwood Propane Torch, and a Greenwood Propane Torch With Igniter, covering both dedicated charcoal lighting and general-purpose torch work. The JJGeorge Grill Torch is built specifically as a charcoal starter rather than a general propane torch, so it's sized and shaped for aiming straight into a charcoal pile or chimney.

The Greenwood Propane Torch With Igniter includes a built-in igniter, while the standard Greenwood Propane Torch does not, so the igniter version skips the extra step of a separate lighter or match. Either Greenwood torch also handles a stubborn gas grill burner or a fire pit, not only charcoal. Ask our staff which torch fits the fuel you use most.
